Terms and privacy.

100 Tokens is operated by Virtue, a Colorado limited liability company in Boulder, Colorado ("Virtue," "we"). By registering for a game, opening a case file, claiming a prize, or using 100tokens.ai, you agree to these terms.

1. What you are agreeing to

When you register, you give us your name and email, and you agree that we may use them to run 100 Tokens and to stay in touch with you. Specifically, you consent to:

• Being added to the player list of the game you registered for, and to being registered for or invited to future 100 Tokens and Virtue games and events.
• If you provide a phone number: receiving game texts (the case drop, game day updates, and results) at that number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of texts; reply START to opt back in.
• Media. Photos, video, and audio that you send to the game line, submit through the site, or that we capture at game locations, checkpoints, and events may be used by 100 Tokens and Virtue in game materials, recaps, and marketing, in any medium, without payment. Sending a photo, video, or audio message to the game line, or submitting one through the site, is your consent to that use, each time you do it. Appearing on camera at a start line, checkpoint, or finish is consent to be filmed there. We credit players by first name or initials unless you tell us otherwise. Write to play@100tokens.ai to opt out of media use, and we will honor it for anything not yet published.
• Receiving email and other communications from 100 Tokens and Virtue: game updates, case file releases, results, and news about future games, products, and Virtue events. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message, and that will not affect an active game registration.
• Our use of your registration and gameplay information, in aggregate or individually, to operate, analyze, improve, and promote 100 Tokens and Virtue.

2. The game

• Game 002 is free to enter. No purchase is necessary. Void where prohibited.
• You must be 18 or older to claim a prize. Identity verification is required by our payment processor before funds can be withdrawn.
• The first eligible player to reach the location and complete the claim instructions wins the prize. Exactly one claim is honored per game. Our determination of the winner is final.
• Prizes are delivered through a third party payment processor (Whop). Availability of funds is subject to that processor's verification and settlement schedule. Taxes on prizes are the winner's responsibility.
• Play safely and lawfully. Tokens are placed in public locations. Do not trespass, dig, climb, damage property, or endanger yourself or others. You play at your own risk, and Virtue is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation.
• We may cancel, pause, or modify a game at any time, including for safety, fraud, or technical reasons. Cheating, tampering with tokens, or interfering with other players results in disqualification.

3. Winner publicity

If you win, you agree that we may announce your first name, last initial, and the general story of your win, and may ask you for a photo or short account to share. We will ask before using your full name or likeness.

4. Privacy

• What we collect: name, email, phone number, registration time, the ad or link you arrived from, basic device and usage data, and, if you claim a prize, the information needed to pay you.
• Location: the game runs on location. Each time you submit an answer or a claim, your device position is recorded with it. We use it to verify play, to run the game, and to study how a game moves through a city. Location data stays with 100 Tokens and Virtue. Other players never see it. Sponsors and partners see it only in aggregate, never tied to a person. Playing the case is your consent to this.
• Who we share it with: service providers that run the game for us, including Whop (prize payments and identity verification), Resend (email), Blooio (text messaging), Vercel (hosting), and Meta (advertising measurement). Each processes your data under its own terms. We do not sell your personal information.
• Advertising measurement: we use the Meta pixel and server side reporting to measure whether our ads work. This may share a hashed version of your email and your device identifiers with Meta.
• Your choices: unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. To access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent, email play@100tokens.ai. We will honor requests as the law requires.
• Retention: we keep registration data while 100 Tokens operates and for as long as needed for the purposes above.

5. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. We may update them; the effective date above will change when we do, and continued participation after an update means you accept it. Questions: play@100tokens.ai.
